Alan Goehring was born in 1962 and became a professional poker player at the age of 37. Alan is known for his positive attitude and playing skills. He was a junk bond trader and analyst prior coming to Poker.In 1997 Alan stood in 3rd place in World Series of Poker and earned $61,845.In 1999, Alan earned $768,625 by winning the World Series of Poker as a runner-up.
In 2000, Alan Goehring was in 2nd place in Carnival of Poker and took home $39,600. Alan won the World Poker Classic in 2003 and earned $1,011,886. In 2006 he finished 1st the LA Poker Classic World Poker Tour and took home $5,200,000 as prize money.
