Duane Tomko AKA “Dewey” was born on December 31, 1946 in Glassport, Pennsylvania. He started playing poker at the age of 16 and financed his studies, after completion of his studies he became a kindergarten teacher and liked to teach students and slowly turned into a Poker player. He left playing poker at one point of time and concentrated entirely on his family, His son was a professional poker player, and he advised his dad to start playing poker again.
He accepted his son’s advice and won his first WSOP circuit in 2005 after 35 years, His dream was to face his son in the future in one of the poker events, his total earnings as of today is $3,548,891, He also finished at first place on 5 occasions.
