Eric seidel was born in 1959 in New York City. He started his career as a backgammon player. Backgammon is one of the oldest board games in the world wherein the playing pieces will be moved according to the roll of dice.
Erik has eight World Series of Poker Bracelets and a World Poker Tour title under his belt. Eric’s first great tournament was 1988 World Series of Poker Championship event and he ended up in second place. In 2007 and 2008 he participated in two Aussie Millions events and finished in 2nd place, earning 1,550,000(AUD).
In 2008 he won World Poker Tour title, WPT Fodwoods Poker Classic and earned $992,890.Other than poker he is one of the Design team members for Full Tilt Poker, online poker card room managed by a team of professional poker players. His total tournament winning exceeds $9,100,000 which resulted in being in 7th position in the Poker History.
