Kathleen H. Liebert was born in 1967 in Tennessee. She has a degree in business and finance from Marist College. Kathleen started her poker career by playing prop. Kathy is the first woman to ever win a tournament with first prize of $1,000,000. She did it by winning the 2002 Party Poker Million event.
In 2000 she won the L.A. Poker Classic and earned $36,400.In 2003 Kathy placed herself in 2nd place in World Series of Poker gaining $91,700.Then in 2004 Kathy won the gold bracelet in World Series of Poker, earning $110,180.
In 2005, Kathy stood in 3rd place in Borgata Poker Open World Poker Tour. In 2007 Kathy won NPL Vegas Open championship winning $ 55,619. In World Series of Poker 2008 Kathy finished the game in 3rd place and earned $306,064. Kathy has a record of earning more prize money in the poker tournaments than other woman poker players – total earning being $4,140,832.
