William Elder or Bill Elder nicked as Billy was born on February 11, 1964 in Evanston, Illinois and has settled in Las Vegas after becoming a professional poker player. He also has a law degree at California-Berkley. Billy is one of the famous poker players without much media attention and correctly he’s described as “One of the best tournament players you don’t know”. He’s a confident person who believes in the concept of playing with the opponents rather than cards in pokers. He’s a record setter, kind personality who enjoys his life to maximum extent and is happy with his family.
Till now he has earned total of $3,375,000 from poker tournaments. He acquired the first place in 38th Annual World Series of Poker where he cashed a heavy $904,672. He also won the Gulf Coast Poker Championship in September 2007 which was his first WPT title and he took home $747,615.In the same year he won the 2007 Poker Netcast Heads Up Challenge claiming $215,000. Also in this year 2008 he won the Gulf Coast Poker Championship event historically making his win the greatest in-game comeback as he had two chips only when last two tables were left. Still he won it making a world record.
