He loves his family very much and a family man, There was an incident, which happened in 2007 when he was qualified for the World Series of Poker but he did not participate because of his honeymoon that was clashing with the event.
However, as they say that fortune favors the brave and Hopkins got another chance to prove himself and he didn’t disappoint neither to his family nor to the public, when he qualified for the 2008 European poker tour where he not only won $450,000 but also finished at fifth place. His total winning includes $469,827.
