David A. Ulliott was born in 1954 in Hull. David Ulliot is a professional gambler and poker player. David started playing poker from the age of 18 years. He moved out of the school at the age of 15 and worked in G K Beaulah’s trophy making company.
Till date he had 115 cash wins and 20 first place finishes. David nicknamed as ‘The Devilfish’ as he wears a gold knuckleduster rings which reads “Devil” and “Fish”. He made this on his own. David finished as second in the 1998 and 2000 World Series of Poker events, earning $103,200 in 1998 and $150,480 in 2000
David won his biggest cash prize tournament in the World Poker Tour in 2003. He earned $589,175 as prize money. In 2007, David came in 3rd place in the World Poker Tour DoyleBrunson Classic Championship Event and earned $674,500.His total earnings as of 2008 were $4,894,442 from the poker tournaments. In the Poker Player magazine inaugural edition David was on the front cover and ranked #9 of Top 10 Poker Legends List.
