Daniel Negreanu Biography

Daniel Negreanu was born in 1974 to Annie and Constantin. His parents belong to Romania came to United States in 1967 and settled in Toronto. From his teens, Daniel had great interest in playing cards and he was so confident about game. This made him to go to Las Vegas, at the age of 21, to become professional poker player.

In 1997 he won two events at the World Poker Finals at Foxwoods and earned $133,600. He was even named as the tournament’s best all-around player. In 1998 World Series of Poker he won WSOP bracelet and took home $169,460. He was the youngest WSOP bracelet winner in history until 2004.

He was also named the World Series of Poker player of the year in 2004 and World Poker Tour player of the year in 2005. In December 2005, he started his own online poker card room on his official website, Full Contact Poker to shape young poker players. He is also a good writer who wrote over 100 articles for ‘CardPlayer Magazine’ and contributed to revise the book, ‘Super System II’ by to Doyle Brunson.
