Nenad Medic AKA “Serb” was born on December 21, 1983 in Apatian, Serbia. He is a Canadian, who used to play basketball and wanted to make a career in it but soon he realized that it will not be possible for him to make it to NBA and started playing poker when he was studying in university of waterloo, after the completion of his graduation and began playing professionally.
In January 2005, Nenad left Canada and went to a hotter place in Caribbean to participate in World Poker Tour’s Caribbean Adventure where he came at 6th place out of 461 players and won more than $100k. Medic won his first title of World Series of poker bracelet in 2008 when he defeated Andy Bolch during heads-up play. Medic is hyper-aggressive and a strong man whose presence itself is intimidating at the poker table. Despite his success, nenad wants to be known as someone who is a simple man and a cash player.
