Jeffrey Lisandro was born in Perth, Australia but now resides in Salerno, Italy. Besides being a professional poker player he’s a real estate investor who has his own homes at Las Vegas, Italy and Australia. Because of his calm nature and his special ability of taking on the best of poker players casually has yielded him nickname of ‘Iceman’. His total poker money is estimated at $3,128,065.
Untill 2007 he was one of the best players of poker without a single WSOP Bracelet as he won his maiden one in the 38th Annual World Series of Poker, Event 32 which was a $2,000 Seven-Card Stud event with top players like Howard Lederer and Daniel Negreanu sharing the final table with him. His recent WSOP feat was in 39th World Series of Poker 2008, June 9 where he ended in 2nd place with $347,004. In Heads Up Limit Hold’em Tournament, 2004 he ended with 1st place and defeated Howard Lederer. Next year in 2005 he won the Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Poker Tournament - WSOP Circuit Event winning $542,360 and defeating Phil Ivey heads-up.
