Juan Carlos was born in 1972 at Ecuador. In late 1990s Juan Carlo moved to United States from Spain to play poker. Juan plays poker with passionate mind and willful heart.
At the age of 29, Juan won his first World Series of Poker bracelet, in 2001, ad earned $1,500,000. This gave him the confidence to move further in Poker. In 2003, he won his other World Series of Poker bracelet worth $251,000.
Coming to World Poker Tour titles Juan Carlo have three under his belt.
In 2007, Juan Carlos earned World Poker Tournament Championship title gaining $3,970,415.
He is the first person to win World Championship events at both the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour. He is the only player with three top ten finishes this year.
Juan Carlos’s tournament earnings as of 2008 exceed $8,500,000 placing him in the 8th position in Poker history.
